Despite entering their first-ever continental campaign, Crystal Palace are adapting at a rapid pace. Missing key players like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles left Dublin with a commanding win that all but guarantees them a place in the Europa Conference League playoffs.
Another three points in their next fixture against Finnish KuPS should be sufficient to secure straight passage to the knockout stages, particularly after a prior setback against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Grasp the Opportunity
This match offered a platform for several Palace's lesser-used players to shine. Christantus Uche, making only his second start since arriving on loan from Getafe, opened the account with a clinical goal. Striker Eddie Nketiah contributed a second, finding the net for the second game in succession.

The match was as good as over eight minutes before half-time. Yeremy Pino weaved past a series of weak challenges before calmly slotting a shot past goalkeeper Wessel Speel to make it 3-0.
After the break, manager Oliver Glasner seized the opportunity to withdraw key individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse came close to scoring with his very first touch, but saw his shot blocked.
The youngster was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one attempt crash off both posts before being gathered on the line. Uche also blazed a sitter of a chance, showing there is still room for development in his game.
A solitary concern for Palace was a late knock to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This allowed 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to earn his first-team debut, rounding off an otherwise positive evening for the traveling side.
