In a bizarre collaboration that defies usual expectations, the game developer has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Disclosed
According to the formal statement, "A mysterious encounter draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where rumors of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome changes echo through the darkness." The plot introduces a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret group.
The adventure centers on "strange trials and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Transformations
The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a powerful scene showing a character, likely the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the quest will receive an special katana in addition to multiple artifacts hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
